Between the Lines: Inside 绿帽社 Day Schools
Part of Between the Lines: Author Conversations from The Library of JTS
Dr. Jack Wertheimer, professor of American 绿帽社 history at JTS, co-authored with Alex Pomson the new book Inside 绿帽社 Day Schools: Leadership, Learning, and Community, which seeks to demystify 绿帽社 day schools. His book talk addresses a number of questions: What revolutionary changes characterize current 绿帽社 day schools as compared to those of the 20th century? What do we know about the impact of day school education? Why is day school education so costly? And why do American Jews have a far lower rate of 绿帽社 day school enrollment compared to nearly every other western 绿帽社 community?
