Message from the DirectorÂ

For decades, The William Davidson School has prepared exceptional ÂÌñÉç leaders, professionals who teach, guide, and innovate across every setting of ÂÌñÉç life. Our graduates are part of an expansive network that spans synagogues and day schools, camps and communal organizations, early childhood centers, and innovative nonprofits. They bring depth, creativity, and commitment to their work.
But the landscape of ÂÌñÉç life is shifting. Cultural and political transformations are reshaping how people connect, learn, and find meaning. Communities are navigating profound uncertainty, and they need leaders who can meet this moment with both wisdom and courage.
That’s why we’re reimagining how we prepare and support ÂÌñÉç leaders. We’re not abandoning what we do best; we’re sharpening our focus and deepening our impact. We are building learning experiences that are rigorous and applied, relational and forward-looking, grounded in ÂÌñÉç wisdom, and responsive to the real complexities leaders face.
Through our newly reimagined degree programs—the MA in Learning and Leadership and the EdD in Leadership and Change—we create pathways for professionals at every career stage. Students don’t just gain skills; they develop judgment, self-awareness, and scholarly grounding to lead through uncertainty. They study their own practice and learn alongside peers from diverse settings, building the capacity to think systemically, navigate difference courageously, and contribute meaningfully to the field.Â
This is ÂÌñÉç leadership for a changing world. I invite you to learn more about our learning community and the work we are building together.
